Requirements
Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Payroll & Compliance of Australia payroll, along with the ability to produce invoice triggers, develop processes and procedures, and ensure timely completion of year-end statutory returns. They should also be capable of compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages and reporting on these, and determining payroll liabilities.
Responsibilities
The Local Market Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of customers, providing excellent service, facilitating timely and accurate payrolls, managing customer queries, supporting and sharing knowledge with colleagues, identifying improvement opportunities, conducting training gap analysis, acting as a subject matter expert for payroll processes, ensuring all processes and procedures are followed, complying with security policies, ensuring payments to employees and authorities are made accurately and on time, and ensuring service quality and timely responses to customer questions and queries.
